Somaliah Williams
Somatic Practitioner, Full Spectrum Community Doula, Heart2Hara Somaliah has been serving families as a Full Spectrum Community Doula since 2013 and has been a Reproductive Justice Advocate beginning in 2016 advocating for pregnant women at Rikers Island Prison. Somaliah is also a Licensed Massage Therapist in NYC and adjunct instructor of massage at Pacific College of Health and Science.
About this speaker
Somaliah is a queer identifying daughter of the diaspora, a mother and birth worker. A self-proclaimed psychonaut, Somaliah has been intensively journeying with plant medicines for about 6 years and most recently began her Shamanic attunement with Behike Kevon, founder of the Entheogen Integration Circle. Coupled with somatic practices she has accessed an ancestral tradition in releasing stored trauma in the body with the guidance of the gentle dose. Somaliah says “the gentle dose is where integration begins, the body is where it speaks”.
