Ketamine and Integration: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly

A Talk by Julia Mirer , Hannah McLane MD, MA, MPH and Kazi Hassan

About this Talk

Ketamine is legally available for use in psychedelic therapy, but without many guidelines, it is offered in different forms, at different doses, in different settings, and with varying degrees of therapy and support.

Although it isn’t a “classic” psychedelic, it is in a unique position to pave the way for the ones that are. If what we do with ketamine is successful, then other psychedelics coming online can follow a working model.

In our panel, we will hear from experts about the pitfalls of ketamine therapy, the potential risks of addiction, what integration looks like with ketamine, and discuss possible ways to get equitable access to those in need.
