Psychedelic Rituals for Befriending Death

A Talk by Katherine MacLean PhD (Midnight Water: Author, Cosmic Ground Control: Existential Detective)

About this Talk

Psychedelics can be great death practice, as well as friendly helpers during grief and bereavement. So many of us are coming to terms with the many faces of grief right now, from actual physical death to loss of income and home security, to changes in the ways we can freely move through the world and seek pleasure and social enjoyment. Since it's also a great time to stay safe at home, we can embrace this pandemic as an opportunity to learn psychedelic home practices that can help guide us through the bardos and passages of death. During this talk, I'll share some rituals and practices I've developed over the past decade that may help you make friends with death and learn how to swim through the vortex of grief.
